Application of Antiwear Coating
Types of surface strengthening treatment:
Application of metal nitride coating (titanium, chromium, zirconium, hafnium) КИБ method. The coating can consist of one or several layers within 0.006-0.01 mm. Special mode plants NNV-6I and IET8I2 are used. The weight of parts can be up to 8 kg. Dimensions: length - 200 mm, height and width - 150 mm.
Magnetic field strengthening.
Strengthening with electric spark treatment.
BAKELITE CUTTERS
The cutters are manufactured by pressing of normal bakelite-bond electrocorundum incorporating one or two layers of glass reinforcement elements. Mechanic strength of cutters provides for their safe operation at working speed of up to 80 m/sec. The reinforcement glass net eliminates the danger of the cutter breaking and splitting into pieces.
